I recently got this wireless adapter for my car, the reason i bought it is because my car (Toyota sienna 2020) only supports Apple CarPlay, so I've been looking around for a solution to be able to connect an Android.

I'm grateful I found this piece, as it is fulfilling what I have been looking for, with some additional benefits.

recently upgraded to this car Adapter, and it’s a big improvement over the previous version I had. The biggest upgrade for me is that this version supports Prime Video and also lets you download new apps directly from the Google Play Store, which my prior version didn’t allow. That alone makes it feel much more flexible and future-proof.
CarPlay runs smoothly and reliably with no noticeable lag, and switching between apps feels quick and seamless. Streaming apps like Netflix, YouTube work great, and it’s super convenient not having to plug my phone in every time.

I would definitely recommend this, especially since there’s a good coupon available right now — it makes the value even better for what you get. If you’re thinking about upgrading from an older AI box or wired CarPlay setup, this one is absolutely worth it.

Everybody are talking about this new trend regarding car connected AI devices. This time very different from bulky wires carscreen. All opposite: small as a chewing gum pack and, after pairing with your car and phone that will recognize next time, a simple USB connections and, like me, you can even hide the device as it is so Small…. But so powerfull! In fact what it adding is the possibility to play everything stock on your phone, which was impossible before (example Netflix). You can set the neon colours and the template. Play your videos and music, make and answer calls, using Waze…etc.. Pairing using Bluetooth is simple. Than, updating took 2 minutes. Open you wifi for more possibilities and that’s it! It was up and running in a few minutes. I've been looking at these magic box adapters for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger, and I’m pleasantly surprised. It worked exactly as expected by providing wireless Android Auto and the ability to play videos on my car’s screen. I only tested with Android, but I have no reason to believe the Apple CarPlay experience would be any different.

One common misconception is about video streaming: to use YouTube, Netflix, and similar apps, the box needs internet access, so you’ll need to connect it to Wi‑Fi (your phone hotspot, a standalone hotspot, or the car’s built-in hotspot).

I was skeptical at first, but this little box seriously impressed me. I plugged it into the USB port I normally use for Android CarPlay in my 2021 Ram 1500 Rebel, and within a couple of minutes, it booted into a custom Android interface(Also worked in 2021 Chrysler Pacifica) I connected it to my phone’s hotspot, and boom ,I was watching Netflix and YouTube right on my truck’s/van screen.

Setup was really easy, and I was surprised by how smooth the video playback was. You can even load other apps like TikTok, or play your own videos from a USB stick. Plus, it turned my wired Android CarPlay into wireless, which is super convenient.

TGreat bit of kit. Took 30 seconds to set up. Connected straight to the car, feels very sturdy. Comes built in with apps like Netflix and YouTube. Has the App Store and over-the-air updates. Makes my older VW act like a much newer infotainment system. Would recommend.

Bought this mainly for family rides. My kids really enjoy it because I can play cartoons, and it keeps them calm during longer trips. Easy to use and works as expected.

Works as advertised once it’s set up—wireless CarPlay/Android Auto is convenient, and having streaming apps on the screen is a nice bonus for passengers when parked. Setup wasn’t totally seamless for me though; I had to delete old Bluetooth/CarPlay connections and restart the unit to get it to pair properly. It’s been mostly stable since, but I’ve had a couple random disconnects. Good idea and useful upgrade, just not perfectly smooth out of the box
